These service providers may also use anonymous information about your visits to our Sites and other websites in order to improve its products and services and provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you.

How We Respond to “Do Not Track” Signals

Internet browsers can be configured to send “Do Not Track” signals to the online services that you visit. California Business & Professions Code Section 22575(b) (as amended effective January 1, 2014) provides that California residents are entitled to know how we respond to “Do Not Track” browser settings.

There currently is no consensus among industry participants as to what “Do Not Track” means in this context. Therefore, like many websites and online services, the Services do not alter their practices when they receive a “Do Not Track” signal from a visitor’s browser. You can learn more about “Do Not Track” here.

Communication Preferences & Email Subscriptions

You may subscribe to the CMSWire newsletter here. You can update your SMG communication preferences here. If you encounter any issues with communication preference changes, you may email at any time and SMG will respond to your request as soon as is reasonably practical.

You may opt out of receiving future email mailings from SMG at any time. We always include a link in the footer of our emails for this purpose.

We will comply with your request as soon as reasonably practicable — in most cases in less than 5 business days, but in all cases no more than 30 calendar days.

Please note that we will maintain personal information in our database whenever we are required to do so by law, for necessary operational reasons, or to maintain uniform business practices.

Please also note that we need to retain certain information for record keeping purposes, to complete any transactions that you began prior to requesting such change or deletion (for example, when registering for a webinar that has not yet been delivered or purchasing a ticket to an event that has not yet taken place, etc.).
